Biography
Ben Whittaker joined East Hartford Public Schools as the Director of Facilities in March 2017, and transitioned to lead the newly created Operations and Finance Division in 2020. Ben has almost 20 years of diversified leadership experience in the educational, municipal, commercial, corporate, and multi-family residential sectors. Specializing in financial planning, infrastructure renewal, and project management, Ben consistently seeks to improve and streamline the District's operations.
Ben holds a BS in Finance and a MS in Construction Management, both from Central Connecticut State University
