Appreciation
The voices of the students we serve, the parents we partner with and the community that supports us is reflected in the documents assembled on our website. The information is a snapshot of our district efforts to engage in a continuous growth model to successfully execute our goals and objectives. Our work has been informed and influenced by the impressive achievements of fellow colleagues, school districts and organizations who have been effective in a similar mission.
For their collaboration and support, we extend thanks to our colleagues in Hartford Public Schools, New Britain, New Haven Public Schools, Meriden Public Schools, Boston Public Schools, Bridgeport Public Schools, Farmington Public Schools, and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Public Schools for the inspiration and sharing as we continue our journey. In addition, the Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDES) and the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) in Massachusetts as well as other state education departments, non-profit agencies and political leaders for organizational designs that have assisted in guiding our approach. To all of our contributors, both named and unnamed in this brief acknowledgement, we offer our deepest appreciation, gratitude and admiration for helping us identify our pathway forward.
