Our Vision
The EHPS Fine and Performing Arts Department Vision is to develop our students' artistic literacy and global awareness by nurturing their ability to create, perform/produce and respond to culturally diverse content at the highest level in a safe and nurturing environment.

We Believe
The EHPS Fine and Performing Arts Department Believe the following conditions should exist in the F&PA program in order for us to achieve our Vision:

  • Every student should have the opportunity  to participate in the F&PA program through Grade 12, regardless of their financial situation.
  • Every student should be able to see their own culture, as well as others, authentically reflected in their artistic experiences.
  • Every student should be able to use the Arts as a vehicle to interact with their communities.
  • Every student should have an opportunity to develop a lifelong connection to the Arts.
  • Every student should have access to Arts-specific technology at all levels.
  • Every student has the opportunity to express themselves and their beliefs through the art making process.
  • Every student should have the opportunity to perform/produce on a regular basis.
  • Every student should have the opportunity to audition for Middle and High School Regional/All-State Music Festivals and/or show their artwork in local and regional art shows regardless of their financial situation.
