Superintendent Thomas Anderson is proposing his budget for the 2024-2025 school year. He will present his proposal to the East Hartford Board of Education and the Town Council on November 27 followed by a public hearing and budget workshop on November 29.
The proposed fiscal year 2025 budget is $102,835,612, which is a 4.8% increase from fiscal year 2024. This budget maintains staffing and services by utilizing funding available through state grants. The only additions to the budget are two teaching positions to satisfy new state graduation requirements: High School World Languages and High School Business Education.
