Four eighth grade students from East Hartford Middle School (EHMS) have been selected to perform in the upcoming Connecticut Music Educator’s Association Eastern Regional Middle School Music Festival.
The students were selected based upon their submission of individual audition videos.
The four students who will be performing are Ignacio Valerio Jacobo, trombone; Bryce Hoynes, percussion; Presley Lavigne, percussion; and Omenihu Nwokoma, tenor saxophone.
“This is a tremendous honor and a reflection of the hard work demonstrated by each student,” said Ms. Patti O’Sullivan, EHMS Band Director.
The festival will be held at Enfield High School on March 4-5, 2022.
