Mrs. Daly has been teaching health and physical education in East Hartford Public Schools for 13 years. She began her career in East Hartford at EHMS and was named their Teacher of the Year in 2011. Mrs. Daly helped develop and implement the "Goal Line" project at the middle school, in conjunction with the UCONN Football Team and other community organizations. Currently, Mrs. Daly teaches health and physical education at East Hartford High School.
Mrs. Daly is a graduate of Springfield College and Concordia University, earning both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Biomechanics. Mrs. Daly is a member of NASPE, CTAHPERD, USA Swimming, and IDEA. She is also certified with the American Red Cross for CPR and First Aid and also has her personal training certificate with IDEA.
Mrs. Daly is dedicated to promoting lifelong fitness. Along with the Health and Physical Education Department, she has attended many workshops and trainings. She is a volunteer in her community in Little League, USA Swimming, and the Most Holy Trinity Church. She also participates in a variety of road races and triathlons throughout the state and area.
