Midterm Exams

East Hartford High School has EHHS letter EXAMS 2018 revised.pdf :
  • Monday, January 8th will be a Regular School Day, 7:30 am – 2:10 pm
  • Midterm Exams will be held Tuesday, January 9th to Tuesday, January 16th.
Please read the schedule and information below about busing, weather and student responsibilities.

Weather:
If school is canceled on an exam day, the day missed will be made up the next day we have school. Exams will proceed consecutively on school days until all exams are taken.
  • Example: If no school on Tuesday, period C and D exam will be moved to Wednesday, Thursday will be E and F exam, Friday will be G and H exam.
If school is delayed on an exam day, the exam will proceed with a delayed exam schedule:

Attendance:
If a student is absent from an exam, the student must provide the house office with written excuse for an illness or emergency to the House AP. The AP will notify the teachers and the exam will be rescheduled.

  • Students need to attend all periods that they have an exam scheduled.
  • Students do not need to be in the building for study hall or lunch periods.
    • Example: If I have an E period exam, but F period Lunch I can leave school grounds at 9:30. Or if I have an A period study hall, but a B period exam I can arrive to school at 9:30.
  • Students need to remain in their exam for the ENTIRE exam period.
