Families Fill East Hartford Green for Annual Back to School Rally

East Hartford Public Schools and our community partners welcomed thousands of students and families to our annual Back to School Rally on the East Hartford Town Green on August 14, 2024.
During the event, families learn more about resources, supports, clubs and organizations that are available in our district, town and greater community. The highlight of the event are the backpacks filled with school supplies that East Hartford children can pick up for free. During the event and in the weeks that followed, our team gave out more than 1,800 backpacks.
The event is organized annually by the EHPS Office of Family and Community Partnerships. They work to organize volunteers, donations and community resource vendors to make the event possible. A heartfelt thank you to all of the organizations and individuals below for making this another successful event!
