There is no Thrive Afterschool Program On:
SUMMER 2023 ENROLLMENT
Thrive Summer Program will run Monday through Friday, July 5 through August 4. Time depends on site location.
2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR ENROLLMENT
Enrollment dates have been adjusted (previously April 19)
Students who are currently attending program or waitlisted for the 2022-2023 school year will have priority access to enrollment. Enrollment for the Thrive Afterschool Program is required annually for all students.
THRIVE SPOTLIGHT: Mayberry School
The Mayberry Thrive Program has experienced some staff transitions, which have amplified our appreciation for our team and each of our Mayberry Thrive families. Thank you for your continuous support in helping our students thrive. March was full of fun. With STEM experiments, visits from the CT Science Center, and our second round of visits from CZR Reptiles, it was a full and engaging month!
This spring, excitement is in the air as we prepare for a wonderful month ahead. April brings more sunshiny weather and happiness! We are so lucky to live in a place where the weather is so inspiring! This month, Mayberry will celebrate Earth Day, with several exciting activities for students to participate in. Some highlights will include learning how to build a bird feeder, taking a virtual day-trip on some of the most beautiful scenes Earth has to offer, and visit from The Children's Museum of Connecticut.
In addition, Mayberry Thrive Program will begin a partnership with Food Corps this month, working in the Mayberry School garden. Students in grades 2- 5 will work outside with the Food Corps member planting vegetables and herbs.
We are eager to spend more time outside in the beautiful weather in April! Please be sure to send your students with a light jacket for time outside.
