East Hartford Public Schools is hosting its Back to School Rally in person for the first time in two years. East Hartford families are encouraged to stop by the town green on Wednesday, August 10th from 3:30-6:30pm for music, giveaways and more.
This year’s event will be bigger and better than ever with live entertainment and representatives from more than 20 community organizations and resources.
The highlight of the event for children is leaving the rally with a new backpack, stocked with school supplies, so they’re ready for the upcoming school year.
This event would not be possible without the help of East Hartford Public Schools’ community partners and generous donations from businesses, organizations and individuals.
“We’re so grateful to our community partners who helped us bring this exciting and important event back for our East Hartford families to enjoy,” said Superintendent Nathan Quesnel. “We hope parents and kids leave the Back to School Rally prepared for the 2022-2023 school year, and excited to learn, grow and achieve.”
