Welcome to the security page of the East Hartford Public School System Website. The Security Team of the East Hartford Public School System is dedicated to providing a safe learning environment for all East Hartford Public Schools.

We take great pride in our security personnel in East Hartford. There are many talented individuals in our organization. Several of the team members have prior law enforcement or security experience. These dedicated individuals interact well with the students and the staff and can deal effectively with emergency situations. This adds up to a very professional and conscientious Security Team.

All of us will work hard to insure the safety of our students, staff and facilities.

I urge all parents and students to take school security issues seriously. Keeping our students and our facilities safe is everybody's business. If we work together, we can certainly achieve this goal.

I will periodically update the Security Section of the website with articles of interest relating to school security.
