PERSONAL PROJECT – a core requirement of the IB Middle Years Programme

The personal project is an independent research and development project that is begun at the end of the 9th-grade year and completed in the 10th grade. The personal project is the opportunity for students to decide what they most want to learn about and how they will learn about it. As the title suggests, it is a personal project and it is completely up to the student what to investigate, what and how to create the project and how to present it. The topic will help students decide what they most love to do. In the process of developing their projects, they will learn about their strengths and weaknesses. As a result, CIBA students will be better prepared for the Diploma Programme courses, the Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay and Creativity, Activity, and Service.
